Advanced ICU Care Again Earns Reaccreditation by The Joint Commission

Recognition by The Joint Commission Signals Continuing Commitment to Quality Care
St. Louis, MO – July 11, 2017 – Advanced ICU Care announced it has again earned The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval® reaffirming Advanced ICU Care’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care. Advanced ICU Care first earned the Gold Seal of Approval in 2008 and has been awarded reaccreditation upon each of three subsequent evaluations.

Advanced ICU Care underwent an onsite assessment in mid-June. During the review, a Joint Commission surveyor evaluated Advanced ICU Care’s compliance with The Joint Commission’s national care standards, including Advanced ICU Care’s processes and systems that enable the coordination of care in collaboration with bedside clinicians.

“Advanced ICU Care is pleased to receive accreditation again from The Joint Commission,” said Lou Silverman, Chairman and CEO of Advanced ICU Care. “It recognizes our continuing compliance with The Joint Commission’s standards and our ongoing Joint Commissioncommitment to providing high quality patient care.”

An independent, nonprofit organization, The Joint Commission is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Their standards are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help organizations measure, assess and improve performance.
