Advanced ICU Care CMO to Present at Philips Live! Connect2Care 2019

Srinivasan to Join Healthcare Industry Stakeholders
and Lead Featured Session

Advanced ICU Care’s Chief Medical Officer S. Ram Srinivasan, MD, will serve as a keynote workshop speaker and panelist at Philips Live! Connect2Care 2019 event September 23-25 in Aurora, CO. Presented by Philips North America, the event brings together healthcare industry leaders, clinicians and key influencers to share insights on the driving forces shaping healthcare delivery within their organizations.

Dr. Srinivasan will present “Change Agents: Breaking Down Walls and Silos Across the Healthcare Enterprise” as the keynote to an audience of trusted advisors to Philips. During the session he will draw on his extensive clinical experience working with a diverse set of partner hospitals and health systems to illustrate the challenges and risks of non-integrated care and to detail opportunities for telemedicine to facilitate collaboration. In particular, he will highlight how telemedicine can serve as an integrating force for care, using its experienced providers, reliance on data and 3rd party perspective to coordinate care across potential care delivery silos.

Srinivasan will also participate as a panelist in a plenary session entitled “The Transformation of Healthcare: Navigation, Acceleration and Impact.” The panel discussion will focus on innovation that targets achievement of the Quadruple Aim of Healthcare and advances care delivery. Dr. Srinivasan’s participation builds on his recent article regarding the contribution of tele-ICU toward the Quad Aim, which appeared in HIT Consultant.
