Advanced ICU Care provides 24/7/365 “always on” technology-enabled critical care services to ICU patients at client hospitals. For patients in these partner ICUs, highly-trained critical care teams led by an intensivist (i.e., a physician trained in critical care) actively provide remote care, utilizing continuous data feeds from hospital EHR systems and bedside monitoring equipment, as well as two-way audio/video connectivity. This enables active monitoring and care management via telemedicine while collaborating closely with the physicians and nurses within the hospital, a partnership that consistently yields 30 to 40 percent decreases in ICU mortality and 25 to 30 percent reductions in average ICU length of stay for a hospital while delivering an ROI of 2-6X.
