The St. Louis Regional Chamber honored Advanced ICU Care among the region’s most inspirational leaders and companies at its 4th Annual Arcus Awards. Recognized with the Arcus Award for Achievement in Health, the company was selected among hundreds of nominees overall and five finalists in the category.
Accepting the award on behalf of the company, CFO Andrea Clegg took the opportunity to highlight the Advanced ICU Care’s national impact from its St. Louis roots. “We save lives and improve outcomes in hospitals across the country.” She also cited the critical nature of the clinical care component of the company’s technology-enabled acute care. Pointing to doctors and nurses from the company who accompanied her at the podium, she said, “These are the people that make the real difference.”
In presenting the award, the Chamber cited Advanced ICU Care as one of the nation’s largest providers of high-acuity telemedicine services and noted its success in significantly reducing patient mortality in working with its partner hospitals. It highlighted the company’s continuing growth, driven by expansion with new hospital partners and the introduction of new services such as cardiac telemetry.
