Advanced ICU Care Leadership to Drive Tele-ICU Discussions at ATA18

ATA18 logoAs the largest, most experienced provider of tele-ICU care in the nation, Advanced ICU Care will have an active and engaging presence at ATA18 taking place April 29 – May 1 in Chicago, IL. The conference, hosted by the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), is the world’s largest telehealth innovation & networking event. During ATA18, the company’s executive team will be active with CEO Lou Silverman, CMO Dr. Rachel Sackrowitz, and CFO Andrea Clegg each scheduled to provide unique commentary from their tele-ICU experience on conference panels. In addition, Advanced ICU Care’s VP of Strategy & Development Gian Cavallini will begin his second year as Chair of the ATA Industry Council, while VP of Marketing Tom Bobich will co-chair ATA’s Tele-ICU/Acute Care Special Interest Group.

  • Rachel Sackrowitz, CMO, will moderate the panel Making Tele-ICU Work in Diverse Hospital Settings, which will feature clinical leaders from hospitals and health systems that are successfully utilizing tele-ICU. The session will highlight how healthcare organizations of different sizes and in a range of geographies each benefit from tele-ICU adoption and add valuable insight into implementation and measurement.   • Lou Silverman, CEO, will sit on the Designing the Future of Healthcare: Telemedicine Leadership from A to Z – And Spots In-Between He will share perspectives on how telemedicine addresses many of the key needs of the rapidly-evolving healthcare system and how it can be used to meet staffing and performance challenges that demand critical attention. The session will be open to all attendees on Monday, April 30th at 10:15 am CT, ATA Experience Zone Theater.
  • CFO, Andrea Clegg, is set to join the panel Avoiding Disaster: Leveraging Telemedicine to Dodge Floods, Storms, and Other Efforts to Shut You Down. Against the backdrop of Hurricane Harvey, Clegg will highlight how the inherent nature of a telemedicine infrastructure such as Advanced ICU Care’s allows the company to seamlessly provide care nationwide even when natural disasters occur.   • VP of Strategy & Development Gian Cavallini will begin his second year as Chair of the ATA Industry Council, heading the group’s meeting on Sunday, April 29th at 4 pm CT.
