Advanced ICU Care Clinical Leadership to Share Tele-ICU Perspectives During Connect2Care

Clinical executives from Advanced ICU Care, the nation’s largest, most experienced provider of high-acuity telemedicine services, will be active in industry leadership sessions at Connect2Care 2018 from October 24-26, 2018 in National Harbor, Maryland. The company’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rachel Sackrowitz, and National Medical Director, Dr. Sriraman Srinivasan, will provide unique insight to the critical care suite of conference sessions, drawn from their tele-ICU experience transforming critical care units through the use of telemedicine.

  • Rachel Sackrowitz, MD, Advanced ICU Care’s Chief Medical Officer, joins the Top Healthcare Challenges: Clinician Burnout, EMR Integration and More panel, where she will discuss some of the ways that tele-ICU has been found to reduce the risk of burnout in the ICU. The panel will take place on Thursday, October 25. Dr. Sackrowitz recently shared her insights on how telemedicine can combat key job dissatisfiers in Becker’s Hospital Review.
  • Advanced ICU Care’s National Medical Director, Sriraman Srinivasan, MD, will present: Bedside to Webside Collaboration, on Friday, October 26, where he will draw on his experience as both a bedside provider and a tele-intensivist working with a varied set of hospitals. Dr. Srinivasan will detail the bed-to-tele transition and key initiatives, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in high-acuity telemedicine. His session will also highlight how collaboration, communication, best practice integration and engagement across roles and departments helps hospitals achieve their clinical excellence goals.

With an event focus on connecting people, data and technology across health systems, attendees will address topics such as enhancing the patient experience, improving population health, lowering the cost of care and improving the work life of healthcare providers.
