CFO Andrea Clegg Teams up with Health Care Leaders for NEHI “Health Care Without Walls”

Collaborating with industry executives and thought leaders in an effort led by the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation (NEHI), Advanced ICU Care’s Chief Financial Officer Andrea Clegg helped to frame a vision for reinventing U.S. health care by means of new technologies. Published as the resulting report “Health Care Without Walls: A Roadmap for Reinventing U.S. Health Care“, the materials address how combining technologies such as telehealth with a reconfigured work force could transform the nation’s health care system.

To inform the report which will serve as a springboard for NEHI’s future work dedicated to advancing a national distributed model of health care, the group engaged stakeholders in five separate work streams focused on technology, the health care work force, payment, regulatory, and human factors issues. Clegg’s co-leadership of the regulatory issues portion of the project significantly leveraged her experience with Advanced ICU Care and its leadership in transforming ICU care.
