As reported in the American Journal of Critical Care, over 75% of the 1,213 surveyed nurses reported that tele-ICU enables them to improve patient care and contributes to their ability to accomplish their critical clinical work. Approximately 2/3 of respondents agreed that using tele-ICU:
- Improves clinical collaboration
- Makes it easier to do their job
- Improves job performance
- Enables them to work more quickly
- Improves communication.
