Advanced ICU Care’s CEO, Lou Silverman, is featured in Health Management Technology’s Telehealth Roundtable along with other key telehealth and telemedicine executives. Silverman discusses how the company has been able to overcome industry challenges, such as interoperability and security, to become the largest provider of tele-ICU clinical services.
Speaking to the topic of security concerns, Silverman shares with Janette Wider from Health Management Technology the following perspective, “we have earned and maintained continuous SOC2 and Joint Commission certifications. We have made significant and continually increasing investments in our technology infrastructure and related security systems and procedures. We employ state-of-the-art technologies internally, and top-rated third party partnerships in furtherance of our data security goals and objectives.”
He also addresses the challenge of interoperability. He identifies how the company’s expertise in integrating with and concurrently operating on all the major inpatient EMRs used across their client base is not only an operational necessity, the capability is a significant competitive advantage.
