Advanced ICU Care CEO to Lead Discussion at U.S. News & World Report Healthcare of Tomorrow Conference

During the seventh annual summit, the nation’s top healthcare leaders including hospital executives, policymakers, insurers, and industry analysts will converge on the Nation’s Capital from November 17-19 to exchange transformative ideas, share best practices, and
set new standards for patient care.

Lou Silverman, CEO of Advanced ICU Care has been chosen to moderate the panel, “Innovations in Patient-Centered Care Delivery: Spotlight on Precision Medicine and Other Cutting-Edge Tools”. Silverman will be covering topics ranging from organizational philosophy to innovation that take a topical look into the future of healthcare. He will be joined by panelists from academia, health systems, and industry.

Dr. Jeffrey R. Basler, President and Chief Executive Officer, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Dean, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine

Basler-JeffDr. Basler oversees the largest provider-led health network in the Southeast. He practiced cardiac anesthesiology and ICU medicine at John Hopkins before joining VanderbiltUniversity as an Associate Dean for Physician Scientist Development. As the CEO of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he recently led the restructuring of VUMC into a not-for-profit corporation that includes 3,000 clinicians, 4 hospitals, 140 outpatient clinics and 23,000 employees.
