June 27, 2017 <Saint Louis, MO> – Advanced ICU Care, the nation’s leading provider of high-acuity telemedicine services, announced the launch of tele-ICU clinical services at Gordon Hospital in northwest Georgia. Gordon, part of Adventist Health System (now AdventHealth), adds to the tele-ICU relationship between the system and Advanced ICU Care which now encompasses hospitals in seven states.
Advanced ICU Care’s team of board-certified intensivists and critical care advanced practitioners and nurses provide around-the-clock monitoring of Gordon Hospital’s ICU patients. Enabled via a secure flow of patient data from various hospital systems and monitoring technologies, Advanced ICU Care’s critical care clinical team provides care from an integrated network of eight care centers. Advanced ICU Care’s providers provide care in collaboration with Gordon’s bedside staff. This constant monitoring and collaborative contact between care teams ensures that critical care expertise is always available to each patient.
